“Salesian GPS”

untitled-1Today, virtually everyone depends on their GPS to get around.  Most of us probably have a GPS in our vehicles and program it whenever we need to go somewhere unfamiliar, because we need a voice to guide us out of trouble when we hit an obstacle.  The teachings of St. Francis de Sales, through his set of the Little Virtues, give us another, more spiritual GPS we can use in all aspects of our lives.

Rev. Francis W. Danella, OSFS, Pastor, Our Lady Star Of The Sea Church, Cape May, NJ, will present:  “Heart Centered in a World of Sensory Overload.” Does the hectic nature of our lives make living a devout life impossible?  Or could it just be possible that we can find holiness precisely in the context of our busyness?  What insights does Salesian spirituality give about discovering the sacred in our 24/7 world?

Rev. Matthew Hillyard, OSFS,  Pastor, Our Lady of Good Counsel, Vienna, VA, will present  “Salesian GPS: Thank God for Recalculating.”  He will share his practical methods and experience in developing a way to maintain an interior calm in the midst of life’s storms that cause one to change course.
